Energy Star has updated their requirements for energy-efficient lamps to version 1.1. The technical requirements were released August 28, 2014 and will come into effect on September 30, 2014.
This release will replace the Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) V4.3 and Integral LED Lamps V1.4 specifications, harmonizing requirements for all lamp types under the Energy Star program.
