Lighting Facts has unveiled new website along with introducing new policies for Manufacturers and Product Submission Guides.
The re-launch and the associated policy changes are part of the program’s effort to balance the growth of the market with the need for independent verification of reported product performance. Instead of having to test every product to LM-79, manufacturers may test one member of a family and calculate the performance of the related products based on the performance of the tested product.
The manufacturers can now define products as being qualified by multiple programs that require LED Lighting Facts, including Next Generation Luminaires™ (NGL) design competition and DesignLights Consortium® (DLC). This new format also allows for single and family product submissions.
Lighting Facts will explain these new changes webminar to be repeated at the following dates.

- August 28th at 1:00 pm EST
- September 4th at 1:00 pm EST
- September 5th at 4:00 pm EST
