LM-79 Testing (LEDs)

Solid State Lighting Testing

Solid State Lighting (SSL) technology has revolutionized the lighting industry with promises to replace traditional incandescent bulbs with greater efficiency and longer life. In order to assure the fulfillment of these promises, LED products need to participate in different certification programs like Lighting Facts, DesignLights Consortium and Energy Star, all of which require rigorous third-party performance tests. Even at the prototyping stage way before certification, reliable performance tests are needed as for the development of next generation LED products.

Lumentra SSL laboratory provides standard and customized test services to help the lighting industry at various stages of LED product development. From LM-79 testing to LED lumen maintenance tests, Lumentra covers a broad spectrum of photometric, electrical and thermal measurements tailored for LED lighting. Lumentra SSL laboratory is accredited by NVLAP under the Energy Efficient Lighting Products Program (NVLAP Lab Code: 500084-0).
